Does it mean that if my PC consumes less power than 225 w. the fan will never work ??? 1050 + ryzen 1600 requires < 225watt\ p.s Sorry for (may be) bad english . Administrators Technobeard Posted April 30, 2017 Administrators Share Posted April 30, 2017 Yes. http://www.corsair.com/en-us/rmx-series-rm550x-550-watt-80-plus-gold-certified-fully-modular-psu Since the fan doesn’t turn on until it’s needed, you’ll enjoy virtually silent operation at low and medium loads. http://www.corsair.com/en-us/~/media/1B74C31201264A568FA90B192ED8187A.ashx?w=
FlashB
So it means that this power supply will NEVER works and have big temperature? Or At a certain temperature fan will work?
Administrators Technobeard Posted May 1, 2017 Administrators Share Posted May 1, 2017 If the temperature gets high enough the fan will kick in. Note that this is completely different than a PSU not working.
