H115i Cooling Fans Registering 0rpm

I've tried numerous 'fixes' and suggestions I've seen on the internet to fix this, but Corsair Link continues to show 0RPM for the main cooling fans, even when they're running at full speed.

The main suggestions have been to disable ALL fan control within the EUFI BIOS, but that didn't work either:-(

I've seen many links and posts regarding this. Is this a fault in the Link software?

Motherboard is Asus Z170 Deluxe

From what you have posted I can't even guess.

Can CL 4.6.0.86 change the LED colour or pump speed?

Attach a CL4 [home] tab screen shot so we can see exactly what does and does not get reported.

Is Device Manager reporting the H115i? If you disable it then enable it does what CL4 reports change?

See http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=853900 for how to attach a file/screen image to a post.

The device manager lists "Corsair Hydro Series 7289 USB device"

I can control the cooler LED colour ok.

OK, given this then I assume the fans are connected, what fans are they and what happens if you interpose the two fan connections to the Y cable?

Do you really have 9 fans or is CL4 double reporting some of them?
