k70 RGB Driver issue?

Razzles

Recommended Posts

I have a K70 RGB.

Just recently I have had the issue where I have to unplug my USB and plug it back in for the keyboard to work. All of the lights still work but they don't go to what I had it set at or the default rainbow one.

I was using an older version of the CUE. Once I had upgraded to the most current CUE the color schemes worked for about 10 seconds then the keyboard became unresponsive and it said failed to detect.

I then looked online for what to do with failed to detect issues, it told me to move the bios switch back and forward and unplug the USB afterwards to plug in the USB with the keyboard on it then to do the one with arrows last. This did absolutely nothing for me and I am stuck.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled CUE a few times but this did nothing for me. I am really lost on what to try next, I tried to search for this issue but the most recent post I found was from 2 years ago and was different than my issue. Any Suggestions?

Thanks,

Chris

Reset CUE and see whether that helps. Note: User created content will be removed.

-Delete the CUE folder in %Appdata%\Corsair

If it does not do anything, Upload the latest log generated by CUE which can be found in %localappdata%\Corsair\CUE\logs as it may provide useful information.

Move the polling switch to 2 and try a different USB port. Does anything change?

Reset the keyboard firmware and see whether that makes a difference as well.

To reset the firmware, Unplug the keyboard, Hold the ESC key down while plugging the keyboard back in.

Do you have the latest Windows, USB chipset drivers, UEFI installed?
