starjax
I was getting blue screens and ramdom application crashes after installing some xms 512 2700 v1.1 memroy. I ran memtest -86 v3.2. I have tests 2-6 with errors showing multiple badram address's.

starjax
Can you tell me the make and model of MB you have along with the CPU speed and it’s FSB as well? In addition, please tell me the bios settings you have set for both CPU and memory and any performance settings that you may have set? Its a msi 655 max series(msi-6730) p4 2.6mhz system with 400mhz fsb. When I ran the test I tested with the corsair xms memroy installed by itself. however the memory that I have been using is 256meg x2 pc2700 cl2 by apacer. bios settings are set to "optimal" and not performance. memory settings are left at default (ddr set to normal and spd enabled). I have not adjusted any of the timings on the system.
