Blue screen of death

Hiya!

I have had a k70 RGB and a K65 RGB for quite a while now and am very happy with the products.

However after the last update my pc started giving random bluescreens caused by my mouse. I did reinstall the driver. Ended up using another mouse for now.

Anyone know how to tackle this issue ?

Anyone know how to tackle this issue ?

Use WINDBG to analyse the dump file/files in C:\Windows\Minidump\ too see which driver caused the BSOD, see http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=760776

Having done this upload the dump file and ask the driver supplier to fix their driver.

When I did this Corsair totally failed to respond , see http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=845182

If WINDBG is all too hard for you and you attach a .ZIP of the dump I could analyse it.

I just tried what you said but WINDBG won't install, upon checking the minidump folder I found out it was empty. Am I seeing ghosts here? Might be because I used CCLeaner after replacing the mouse. I could try to trigger a blue again but it's not occuring alot, had like 2 in 3 days of using the pc alot.

Thanks for your help.

It's up to you. It would be ideal if you configured Windows to generate a full dump (C:\Windows\memory.dmp).

You should also add your PC specs to your profile so I can see which version and build of Windows you are using as without knowing that I can't tell you how to setup a full dump.

If it was my software you felt triggered a BSOD and you failed to provide me with a dump file I would tell you to go away and come back once you had one for me as without a dump file there is no way I could address the issue.
