Minuks
Hello all, After spending a lot of time comparing keyboards, I finally decided to buy a corsair K65 RGB ! Only thing left I have to decide is the model, the lux one, or the old one. I really like the key font on the old one (http://www.corsair.com/en-us/corsair-gaming-k65-rgb-compact-mechanical-gaming-keyboard-ch-9000222-na), but I read on the forum that the lighting in 16.8M colors had flickering issues ? Was it patched ? Will I experience a flickering if i display a slowly shifting rainbow effect (~5 minutes period) ? Sorry if the question was already answered, but I never know if the posts adress a general issue or jsut a faulty keyboard.
Oxides
You will want one of the versions released after that to address the 16.8M color animation flicker. Strafe, Rapidfire, Lux, Deluxe.
terabyte
What he said ^ The flicker issue on the original K65/K70/K95 RGB keyboards cannot be fixed completely because a part of the issue is the LED controller they use. AS of now Corsair has already released several new keyboards with a new/updated LED controller which don't suffer anymore from a flicker issue. If you get that K65 RGB you linked the flicker problem will still be there, you should look at these 2 instead: 1) K65 RGB RAPIDFIRE (speed switches): http://www.corsair.com/en-us/k65-rgb-rapidfire-compact-mechanical-gaming-keyboard-cherry-mx-speed-rgb-na 2) K65 LUX RGB (red switches): http://www.corsair.com/en-us/k65-lux-rgb-compact-mechanical-gaming-keyboard-cherry-mx-red-na
