Amirantha
So, is there actually a difference between the Scimitar and Scimitar "Pro" outside of onboard memory...? I even think the pictures of Bajheera making his "I'm way to excited for this" face are the same on both versions of the product pages....
terabyte
We recently answered the same question in another thread, have a look at it: http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=164791 ;):

I'm hoping the main difference is that the "pro" version actually works. Best Wulf :D:
Amirantha
My "regular" Scimitar works fine. I just wondered if it was worth spending another wad of cash on a mouse and I guess not. Would have been nice to get a Black version on launch though, but not too salty about that either way.
alan1476
I just bought the Black version of the Pro Scimitar on Amazon, I have Prime or I would have ordered it from the Corsair website. 69.00 for the Black Pro and 79.00 for the Yellow Pro. I also have the regular Scimitar , which works fine, but I am wondering which version is the top of the line. The reason I ask is, Amazon has both The Pro and the regular Scimitar, The regular is over 100.00 and the Pro is only 69.00 for Black and 79.00 for Yellow. I am mixed up.:(:
Corsair Employees Corsair Nick Posted July 25, 2017 Corsair Employees Share Posted July 25, 2017 The Scimitar Pro would be the top of the line version currently offered. With the Pro version you get all the same features of the original, plus hardware playback, 16,000dpi vs 12,000, and a tough centering pad on the G5 key so you know where your thumb is.
