Ghosteo
Just put a pair of twinx512-3200C2(s) in my Asus P4P800 Deluxe. Set the memory timing to 2.5-3-3-6 (burst 8). After playing Half Life 2 I get a memory error. The I ran CPUID and found the SPD setting for this memory is 3-3-3-8 @ 200Hz. That is not what your spec sheet calls for. Can you explain the discrepancy?
CandyKid
Welcome to the forums, Ghosteo! The modules of XMS 3200C2 are programmed in their SPD to JEDEC PC3200 standards and the 2-3-3-6* must be set manually. Also, these modules are rated at 2.75 volts (VDimm) so you might think about bumping that up just a little bit. If you still think there's something wrong with the memory, please run Memtest86+ for 3 passes and see if it gives you errors (with the modules in dual-channel, but no other memory in your system). PLUR CK *These modules run 2.5-3-3-6 on AMD systems.
