k95 rgb 5 is not typing and does not respond to reactive lighting

I got a new K95 a couple of weeks ago and today I noticed that the five key (on the row not the numpad) did not work.

 

I have tried rebooting, switching to bios mode and tested it on another computer and reactive lighting does not work with it, however the led works fine.

 

Does anyone know what might be wrong?

Sounds like the soldiering/ contacts for that key switch might be loose. Id suggest returning it or using that corsair warranty.
