viaoboy
I just bought a DDRAM 1024mb CMX 3200pro and installed it on my system, and it doesn't seem to be working with my other ram. Here is my system setup: CPU: Intel P4 2.8ghz HT OS: Windows XP Pro SP2 MB: PC Chips M952 v3.0 Power Supply: Thermaltake 480watts Video card: ATI Radeon 9800 Pro Ram: 1024mb pc2700 crucial & 1024mb 3200pro Corsair Everything works fine except that WinXP only recognizes 1gb of ram. They both work fine by itself, but when I install both of it together, Winxp only recognizes 1gb instead of 2gb of rams. Are they both not compatible, or am I doing something wrong? Need advice. Thanks in advance.
Wired
The 2 sticks sound like they're not compatible, however this does not have to do with one being PC2700 and one being PC3200. Who made the other stick?

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 11, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 11, 2005 With most MB's you cannot mix memory, but you can try and set the memory Freq manually to DDR333 and set the timings to Cass 2.5-3-3-7 and set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts and then test with http://www.memtest.org to be sure.
