RC-1290 Posted December 22, 2016 Share Posted December 22, 2016 Originally this was a post about how I could only manage to have static lighting show up outside of Windows when using advanced mode. I had done a bunch of testing to figure out the differences between the two modes. Only after posting did it occur to me that I neglected to select the specific keys I wanted to have the solid color in the simple mode. Something that seemed totally normal to me in advance mode. If you stumbled upon this thread when trying to find out how to get backlights to show up in the Windows Lock screen, and outside of Windows in general: - Add a static light effect - Select the keys it should affect - Click the hamburger/menu key next to the profile icon - Click "Save Static Lighting and Performance to Device" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
