Overclocking Twinx1024-3200ll rev 1.2

220mhz, dfi ut 250gb, 2-3-2-6, 3.1v's. ch-5 ic chips on mine. it's the same for your's right? do you know about this voltage regulator on the ic's? someone was telling me at another forum that if i go over 3.1v-3.2v's that i'll see alot more of an improvement.

Mine is CH-5 also, revision 1.2, was 220 in CPC off or on? Yes CH-5 has a voltage regulator, it tends to hate anything above 2.7 (modded bios can change this). I also heard if you go to 3.1 or 3.2vDimm the voltage regulator starts to like the voltage or something of that matter, to me it isn't worth voiding the warranty though, and theres a high risk of frying the ram unless it is well cool (even then there is still a great chance of frying it)

 

Edit: I didn't even see that you are runningon 3.1 volts, how is that handling, do you have extra cooling on your ram? You should be able to reach 230fsb in CPC off mode, unless 220 is your max.
