Stormfoxy
Hey I recently bought a Corsair Scimitar gaming mouse to replace my dying Naga. No problem with the mouse after plugging in however to bind the buttons located on the side I need CUE so I want and dowloaded it and tried to install it. This is the issue I get everytime I try: http://puu.sh/sTttP/62352c8c7a.jpg Is CUE not compatible with Windows 7 or something? Heres the log I get: === Verbose logging started: 18/12/2016 12:05:42 Build type: SHIP UNICODE 5.00.7601.00 Calling process: C:\Users\John\AppData\Local\Temp\MSI25178\InstallerGui.exe === MSI © (78:E0) [12:05:42:759]: Resetting cached policy values MSI © (78:E0) [12:05:42:759]: Machine policy value 'Debug' is 0 MSI © (78:E0) [12:05:42:759]: ******* RunEngine: ******* Product: C:\Users\Justin\Desktop\Corsair-Utility-Engine-v1.16.42\CorsairUtilityEngineSetup.MUI_Release_1.16.42..msi ******* Action: ******* CommandLine: ********** MSI © (78:E0) [12:05:42:760]: Client-side and UI is none or basic: Running entire install on the server. terabyte
As a first step I would try installing CUE 2.7.78 and see if that works.

Toasted
Based off the log, The error is related to Windows Installer. It will be best to Google some solutions as it will be faster than attempting to resolve it on the forum. To start, Google "MainEngineThread is returning 1601" Or "Windows Installer 1601"
