5amael
Hello, i got a small issue i was hoping someone could help me with. Keyboard lights dont lit up when i boot the PC. No other issues. I have to do a 'Force Update' firmware through CUE on the keyboard to get it to work again. Whats Wrong? Its only the red static LED back lighting with issues, there's still light in the numlock, capslock and scroll lock indicator lights and the keyboard otherwise works fine. Any suggestions? Thank you. Toasted
Sounds a blank advanced lighting effect is stored on the keyboard. You can create your own static lighting profile and save it to the keyboard in CUE and that should resolve your issue.

Inheritance
Which keyboard are you using? What is your firmware build? So saving a profile to the memory does not work?
5amael
Hello Inheritance. Keyboard is a K70 LUX non-RGB version. Firmware is listed as 2.04. Saving my profile to memory seems to do nothing - neither on basic or advanced settings. Im not sure if im supposed to just click the button, hold it or double tap it? Is any confirmation supposed to occur? Im running CUE version 2.6.79, and already tried to reinstall that aswell.
Toasted
Create a new lighting effect and set the whole keyboard on (Drag across the keys), Then save it to the keyboard and exit CUE via the Notifications tray. Does the keyboard remain lit up?
5amael
Yes, it remains lit up. If i recall correctly, the keyboard was also lit up when i plugged it in the first time, before installing CUE. It just doesnt lit up on it owns after the computer has been shut down for a while. If i restart my computer the lighting remins on.
