starnix17
I have a Windows PC with 512megs of Corsair Value Select DDR RAM. When I try to play any games (or any program that uses a lot of RAM like Photoshop and Dreamweaver) after about 20 minutes the PC just shuts off and goes to the BIOS and boots back into Windows. Once I log in I get this error message: http://img19.exs.cx/img19/2379/error5ge.jpg So... I googled the error and I found this page. After looking at the page I noticed that most people said that it was bad RAM. I ran Prime95 to see if I have any bad hardware and I got a faulty harware error. And thats where I stand. Anyone have any ideas?

Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted January 10, 2005 Corsair Employee Share Posted January 10, 2005 With a AMD 2700+ the memory should be set to 100% or 1 to 1 with the CPU. Can you tell me the make and model of MB you have? In addition, please tell me the bios settings you have set for both CPU and memory and any performance settings that you may have set? starnix17
Ok... I just changed the memory to 1 to 1 and that didn't fix it. Thats the only setting in my BIOS that I changed the rest is on auto. Here's the webpage for the motherboard: http://www.albatron.com.tw/english/it/mb/specification.asp?pro_id=
