Mike89
Ok, let me explain as my title is a little misleading. This problem is driving me nuts. I have an ASRock Z77 Extreme6 motherboard (latest 2.80 bios) with an I7 3770k cpu. I have these memory sticks, all Corsair. 4 sticks of CML8GX3M2A1600C9 2 sticks of CML16GX3M2A1600C9 If I run the 2 8 Gig sticks (16 gigs total in either slots 1&3 or 2&4)), I get problems such as browser crashing and game crashing. If I run 2 4 Gig sticks (8 gigs total) I have no problems. If I run all 4 4 Gig sticks (16 gigs total), I also have no problems. Corsair previously had replaced the 2 8 gig sticks awhile back when I had the same problem. Now with the replacement sticks, I still have the same problem. So I either have had the misfortune of getting 2 sets of bad sticks or my problem is elsewhere. No overclocking on either cpu or ram or video card. All stock settings. No overheating problems of any kind. Windows 10 Pro x64. I would love to hear some feedback on this issue.
