sverremunthe
Seriously? Isn't it possible to monitor the temps on Dominator Platinum???
red-ray
You should add your PC specs to your profile and specify the URL of the Dominator DDR4 specification as without these it's impossible to check. It's down to if the DIMMs have MTS (module thermal sensor) support. If you run my SIV utility and post the initial + Menu->Hardware->SPD Summary + Menu->Hardware->SPD Thermal screens I could comment further. If the DIMMs support MTS I expect SIV will report their temperatures.

BTW your DIMMs are only running at 2.67GHz when looking at the SPD they are capable of 3.20GHz.

sverremunthe
Revisiting this post as I have now rebuilt my PC. The answer I got from Corsair was that it isn't possible to measure the temperature on Dominator RAM. So I'm wondering, is there a manual way of doing this? I have tried inserting a flat temp sensor behind the cover, but not sure if that is accurate. Can you remove the cover and attach the sensor to one of the chips? red-ray
The answer I got from Corsair was that it isn't possible to measure the temperature on Dominator RAM. You can on Dominator® Platinum Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz C12 Memory Kit (CMD32GX4M4A2400C12) so I expect Corsair support either need additional training, to RTFM or both :(:. Below you can see SIV doing this, so it is possible for at lest some Dominator RAM DIMMs. The screen shot is from the DIMMs mentioned in the http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=836136 thread which also shows Corsair support is sub-optimal. sverremunthe
Yeah. Tried your program last time. Insane that the best RAM they sell doesn't (didn't?) have it.
red-ray
Some DIMMs report MTS when they don't have it  What really insane is that it's impossible to know from the tech specs if the DIMMs have MTS support.
