snts713 Posted November 20, 2016 Share Posted November 20, 2016 Hello I have a problem with one of my Memory sticks. The adhesive on the heat spreader came loose from the thermal pad side, and it was just sorta hanging on from the other side. I think it was shorting out something on the ram and was causing my pc not to boot. So i just removed the the heat spreader from the ram and did a bios reset then it booted back up. So now I just need for someone to point me in the right direction as far as what pads to get and replace the heat spreader on the ram so it doesn't look all funky. I attached pic you can clearly see where the adhesive just completely failed on the right side the left side is the one that was still holding on. Nichrome Posted November 23, 2016 Share Posted November 23, 2016 Hi I would suggest you ask the customer support, as they might have the ability to tell you more technical stuff (therm pad thickness).
