Garnett
Hi there - I have just bought this new Strafe keyboard - it has UK layout (ie, large enter button etc) but the buttons for @ and " produce each others' character. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? Many thanks.
terabyte
You need to go into windows control panel and check your language settings. The keyboard layout option is there.
Garnett
Thanks - that fixed it. Seems counterintuitive though - the laptop I plugged the Strafe into has a correctly mapped UK layout keyboard - unsure why the Strafe wasn't correctly mapped from the outset. Toasted
Windows does not detect the keyboard's locale, It is set during the install process where you select language, locale and keyboard. If your laptop's keyboard is in UK layout, then its likely the OEM will have preconfigured it for a UK keyboard.
