Wiztard
Hi. I got myself a Scimitar mouse a few months ago, but recently I'm beginning to notice that the right-click button will only hold if you apply a decent amount of pressure, pushing it down past the switch trigger point is no longer enough. Is this acceptable or is it grounds for RMA? The store I bought it from said they were unsure whether or not the RMA would go through since they couldn't find any fault "using the mouse normally" in that it doesn't double-click when you push the button once (Razer syndrome). My experience with high-quality mice is that no matter the pressure you apply past the trigger point "click" the button should still hold until the second "click" when you release the button. I explained this to them but they looked at me like i was talking gibberish.
Toasted
No, its not normal to require a large amount of pressure in order to hold or click a button. You can try to resolve it by reflashing the firmware, "hard reset" via a support ticket or you can request an RMA to replace the mouse. https://corsair.secure.force.com/
