vyzz
Which of the 3 sets of screws do I use for LGA 1155? i7-3770. I "hope" I'm using the wrong screws, as it seems to have marginally better cooling over 212 evo. I'm currently using the equal length threaded mounting screws that come in the same back as the stubby ones. The other back has much darker equal side threads. Idle is 33, max is low 60s. Also, should we be using the TIM that comes with it? or is that just there to stupid proof the device? Is there something better I should use? snapper69
It looks like you are using the correct screws. The TIM that is pre installed seems to be pretty good stuff, certainly not worth changing. It was rumoured a while ago, that it was Shin-Etsu, which is good stuff.
