750D Airflow - Broken Front Panel Clip

Hey Guys,

I was hoping someone could provide some recommendations and/or solutions before I create an RMA for my 750D Airflow Edition case.

Basically, case is 10.5 months old so well within warranty, but the right side clip that holds the front panel on has just stopped holding the panel. I've attached a few photos to show what I mean. When pressed in, the clip on the left will stay inside the fitting, where the clip on the right just pops straight back out.

I've had a quick look and it looks like this isn't just a simple swap of a front panel but is there anyone that's either had the same happen that can share their fix, or anyone that can provide some recommendations as I really don't want to have to RMA the whole case!

If it does come down to an RMA, I'll also mention that the Power LED is very dim compared to the HDD one, as seen in the other photo. This isn't so much of an issue but if I'm creating an RMA, I might as well get both faults fixed at once.

Apart from these two issues, got to say this is a superb case, had the Carbide Air 540 before which was good, but this is a different class altogether!

Thanks for the help/advice,

All the clips on my 2 x 750D are fine, but the power LED on the older one is so dim I can only see it with all the lights off. The case is 30 months and this seems to be a commonish issue, see http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=162582.

I only spotted this yesterday and am still deciding what to do. I suspect I will either replace the LED or ignore the issue.

Hey Red-Ray, I saw your post and that's what reminded me of the LED issue on my case! Shame it's a common issue but then, LEDs do have a life-cycle so it's expected really (But obviously should be longer than 10 months - 2.5years!).

Thanks for the advice Toasted, I'll submit an RMA and get the front panel replaced. Hopefully it's simple enough as I don't really want to completely dismantle my build for the sake of a single plastic clip!

Thanks again,
