Has the keycap surface area changed over the years?

I had a Corsair K95 Vengeance years ago and out of frustration eventually got rid of it. The keys had a pronounced taper leaving them with a smaller surface area. I have big hands and typing on that thing was difficult. I've been

looking for a quiet mechanical keyboard lately, and the Corsair Strafe RGB Cherry MX Silent is a contender. Have Corsair increased keycap surface area over the years, or should I go for another brand?

I would say it is one of the larger, flatter key tops. I went through quite a few different brands in the last month or two and that narrow, tapered feel was something of a problem. It felt good to get back on my K70 LUX and K95P.

That's what I was hoping for. Thank you, c-attack.
