Astral85
I see that CUE uses anywhere between 1-5% cpu usage constantly in the background. I saw another thread that mentions that it's not really acceptable. I thought to exit CUE from the taskbar but upon exiting none of my mouse (Sabre) features or profiles work anymore. So does CUE have to be open for any profiles to be active? I would have at least thought you could exit CUE and the profile would remain stored in the mouse... I'm pretty sure the Sabre has on board memory? What are your thoughts/opinions on the cpu usage of CUE in the background?
Astral85
Ok sorry, I see that you can save the current profile to the device memory in CUE. So as far as I can tell CUE doesn't need to be running in the background...
terabyte
It depends on what you want to do. If you want lighting effects to be playing on the keyboard and want to use macros, then yes you need CUE running in background. Without it both will NOT work, what you can save on the device memory is only a static lighting layer and that's it (and for mices the DPI settings too).
