Randpage Posted August 7, 2016 Share Posted August 7, 2016 Just got my k70 rgb lux and so far love it. My question is CUE keeps telling me there is a new firmware (2.05) available. I can't seem to find any info about what the new firmware does/is. I don't want to screw anything up by installing it if it isn't worth it. Can someone give me some insight? Jkraghify Posted August 7, 2016 Share Posted August 7, 2016 If the keyboard is working fine and you're happy with performance, there's no real reason to update the firmware. If a problem does come up though, the first thing I would do is update your firmware. I am one that will blindly update, and no firmware update made the keyboard more difficult to use. That being said, some people experience problems with new firmware and need to roll back. Maybe if you find a copy of your current firmware, there will be minimal risk in updating.
