Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 3, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 3, 2005 Getting errors with both modules would suggest some other problem. Can you tell me the make and model of MB you have along with the CPU speed and it’s FSB as well? In addition, please tell me the bios settings you have set for both CPU and memory and any performance settings that you may have set?
foxtekka
According to memtest 3.2+ my FSB is running At 200, My memory is also running at 200, My processor is a Intel P4 2.6C , Motherboard is a intel D865GBF. Bios set to default setting before test showed same errors but a correction must be made due to speed of error print out, not first 256 stick but 2nd stick (values 366.2mb up to 510.2mb) showed the errors. Upon testing memory again for second time memory only failed for 162 errors but sill on second stick the origonal post stated that both were wrong, i was incorrect and apologize for wrong response. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 3, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 3, 2005 We will be happy to replace the modules please follow the link in my signature “I Think I Have a Bad Module" and we will be happy to replace them. However, I would try and test them one at a time and you might try and clear the bios and load setup defaults just to make sure it’s not some other problem. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 3, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 3, 2005 Yes, I would suggest you send both modules if you RMA them.
