Fabio
I have just bought the A8N-SLI motherboard and installed my Corsair Twinx512-3200LL modules in it together with an AMD 64 3200+. I tried the RAM at 200mhz at both 2-3-2-6 and 2-3-3-6 and at 2.7 volts. When I use a Command rate of 1T both modules pass memtest 86 but fail prime 95 after about 2 hours. If I use command rate 2T they pass prime for over 8 hours. Are my modules faulty? Or am I doing something wrong. Thanks Fabio
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 3, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 3, 2005 More than likely the modules are fine. I would give the MB some time or wait for the next bios release. If possible, I would test the modules in another system to be sure!
Fabio
Can you test 1T on an Nforce 2 motherboard or does it need to be nforce 3 or 4?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 4, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 4, 2005 Nforce2 chipset usually has this enabled by default in the chipset. And all of the MB's I have seen do not give the option in the bios for Command rate. But normally this would be close to CPC or Command Per Clock.
