r7yea
Thanks for the yes but just to double check, my question concerns the CAS Latency: 3-3-3-8 of the module. I was under the impression that 2.5-3-3-6 is proper for the board. But if the XMS 3200 will work I'm Stylin' R7yea
jsteel44
The latency settings are RAM based/specific, not motherboard, and the board should pick up the spd programmed timings and set it accordingly, unless you manually change the timings then it'll work at 3-3-3-
Gorganzola
As already alluded to, it is dependent on the memory you are using. The motherboard may be able to function with 2.5-3-3-6 but the memory was tested to run at 3-3-3-8 in dual channel. You can try tightening the timings, as well as upping the voltage and remember do not go over 2.9V or that will void your warranty. Whatever the case may be, you're stylin'. :sunglasse Thanks for the yes but just to double check, my question concerns the CAS Latency: 3-3-3-8 of the module.
