cyberibe
I suddenly have a bad memory. 1 512MB DIMM out of a pair of TwinX XMS4000 Purchased last spring, working fine for about 9 months. Suddenly get a POST error identifying a memory parity error. Swapped positions with the other stick. No change. Tried all sorts of combinations but all point to the single bad stick. These are not even being pushed - 400Mhz FSB & standard voltage. RMA ? - Also since these are "TWINX" matched pairs, do I have to send both in? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 3, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 3, 2005 Can you tell me what you mean by a parity error? These modules are un-buffered and would not have parity

Motherboard - Asus P4C800E-deluxe uP - Pentium 4 Prescott 3.0Ghz Running fine with 1 DIMM right now. If I install the second, I get this Post error.
