Can anyone help me understand AX860i readings?

Hi Everyone,

I have an AX860i PSU, and it has Corsair Link feature, so I can get how much power my system is consuming. Here is a screenshot of it.

It only makes sense if I only look at the "123.00V" field and think it as the total wattage, but if I add the wattage of "12.03V", "5.03V" and "3.31V". The total wattage is always greater than the reading in the "123.00V" field.

Am I missing something here? Can anyone help me understand these readings? Also, I don't think my PSU is faulty, this is my second AX860i, the previous one I owned had the same issue.

Thanks!

No and I get the same effect as do many others. I reported this on 01-Apr-2016 in http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=845101 and am still awaiting a resolution.

I have even opened a ticket for this issue, but the Technical Support staff said and I quote, "Unfortunately providing the details of the relationship between Voltage, Wattage, Amperage, and Resistance falls well outside of the scope of our Technical Support staff. If you are experiencing issues with the PSU, we are more than welcome to help troubleshoot the issue.

LOL

I find Corsair "Technical" support give fast rather than good/correct answers, but often no answer.

Have you managed to get CL4 to report your SAMSUNG 950 PRO 512GB? CL4 failed to report my NVMe drive so I reported http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=836736.

Nope, CL4 isn't showing my 950 Pro. I use AIDA64 to monitor my hardware and it works perfectly.
