Marctraider
Simple question: Is it necessary after Windows boot to run CUE in order for the polling rate to apply? (1000hz in my case)? Or is it set to 1000hz despite being loaded into OS, and in other words this is saved into the firmware? Thanks.
terabyte
Depends, what device are we talking about? For example keyboards have a switch in their back, at least the KXX series (not sure about strafe thought). I don't know if the polling rate for mices is saved however, and there is no manual switch on those.
Corsair Employee Corsair James Posted June 20, 2016 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 20, 2016 Polling rate is controlled through CUE but the behavior is via hardware. If you select polling rate by the switch or through CUE to be at 1000hz, it'll run at that rate whether CUE is on or off.
Marctraider
Apologies, The device in question is a Corsair Strafe Cherry MX Silent RGB (One of the, or newest) So after setting a polling rate of 1000hz, I can safely uninstall CUE and never look back? (I dont need other functionalities atm anyway)
Corsair Employee Corsair James Posted June 21, 2016 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 21, 2016 Correct. The keyboards are also at a default of 1000hz as well out of the box.
