TWIN1024-3200C2PT with P4P800-E Deluxe

I recently bought TWINX1024-3200C2PT to go with my Asus P4P800-E Deluxe mobo with the latest BIOS (1004). I am running an Intel 3.2E Prescott and I do not OC and have no plans to OC. Here is my issue. The memory is listed as 2-3-3-6 T1. However, I went into BIOS and told my mobo to load defaults and this is what is set in the bios (with all the possible values listed):

 

Advanced/Jumper Free

Configure DRAM Timing by SPD: Enabled / Disabled (defaulted to Enabled)

DRAM cas # latency: 2.0 / 2.5 / 3.0 (defaulted to 2.5)

DRAM ras # precharge: 4 / 3 / 2 (defaulted to 4)

DRAM ras # to cas # delay: 4 / 3 / 2 (defaulted to 4)

DRAM precharge delay: 8 / 7 / 6 / 5 (defaulted to 8)

DRAM burst length: 8 / 4 (defaulted to 8)

Memory acceleration mode: Auto / Enabled (defaulted to Auto)

DRAM idle timer: Inifinite / 0T / 8T / 16T / 64T / Auto (defaulted to Auto)

DRAM refresh rate: Auto / 15.6 usec / 7.8 usec / 64 usec / 64T (defualts to Auto)

 

I am not sure what the default values are set for the following because I didn't realize that the RAM Guy might need this info...I am at work right now instead of home:

Advanced/Jumper Free

AI Overclocking

CPU Freq

DRAM Clock

Memory or Dim Reference voltage

System performance

USB Legacy Support

 

Questions:

1) My understanding is that the BIOS gets the settings from the memory chips so why did it set 2.5-4-4-8?

2) What should I set the values above for this RAM that is listed as 2-3-3-6 in the Corsair spec sheet?

 

I am out of breath right now...waiting to see what you guys say.

With XMS3200C2 the timings would need to be set maually.
