Corsair Vengeance 2100 stuck on lights all on

Hello.

I have a pair of Corsair Vengeance 2100's, and a couple weeks ago, they started going robotic voices on me, but I didnt think much of it.

Then, they started cutting out on me, and I had to shut them off and turn them back on.

I turned them off last night (they worked fine), but when I just now came to game, they are stuck on both Blue Light ON (the powered on blue light), AND the power cord light is on, on Red. Both of these lights are on at the same time, and the headset wont turn on or off, they are just stuck at this weird power state.

I have tried:

Plugging them in to the usb and holding the power button.

Unplugging them from usb and holding the power button.

now, I have come here to report the issue (I also had the 2000 wireless ones, and remember way back that this was an issue on some peoples headsets, but that it was usually when they first got them out of the box.

I ordered them from amazon on June 25, 2014, and I dont remember the warrenty period on them.

OR, if there is something I can do to 'unstick' them ?

Thanks.

Dave3d

Edit:

I got them working by unplugging the battery.

BUT, they are still doing the robot voice once in a while.

Are they still in warrenty?

Thanks.

Corsair provides a two year warranty for their headsets.

For the robot voices,

Have you tried a different USB port for the dongle?

Have you tried adjusting the default format back for both the headset and microphone?

The default format? I dont know what you mean.

As for usb ports, I only have 4 ports, that are all part of the same cluster (ie: on the same usb bridge from the motherboard). They are usb 3.0 ports.

I uninstalled the corsair drivers, and now the voices are back to normal (so far, but I havent done much today in the way of gaming, and have not done any skype at all).

Since it is so close to the 2 year warrenty (18 days left on the warrenty), should I send them in?

Should I create a ticket?

Thanks.

OK

Where do I create a ticket?

The thing is all kinds of messed up now.

:(

Robot voices, clipping/hitching so I cant hear any words, just parts of them.

Also, I can no longer do 5.1, only 2.0 or 7.1

Sigh.

Need to send them in.

OK

I plugged them into usb 2.0 ports, and they work great!

So, using usb 3.0 ports, these headsets get buggy as heck!

Using 2.0, they work perfect!

Corsair, are you going to address the usb 3.0 and 3.1 issue?

I had to remove my usb keyboard and mouse from the top slots in my mobo (which are specifically for kb/mouse, since there are no ps/2 ports) and set my kb/mouse to usb 3.0 ports.

:(

Whats up with that?

And, I have Corsair:

1500

2000

2100

What happens when I have a motherboard that is ALL usb 3.0 and/or 3.1 ?

:(
