More than 1 Corsair Link Device

Currently i own a H100i and i am thinking about buying a new psu. The rm850i.

The problem is that my motherboard (MSi Z170a Gaming M7) only has 2 internal usb 2.0 headers and 2 internal usb 3.0 headers. So 1 internal usb 2.0 header is used for my 2 usb 2.0 ports on my case. The other one for my h100i. One of the internal usb 3.0 ports is also used for 2 usb 3.0 ports in the front.

So i don't have any internal usb 2.0 headers left. My question is now what options do i have to use corsair link for the rm850i. I know that i could use the corsair link comander mini but it is a little bit expensive and i don't need it's fan control ability. I can use the h100i for that. Can the comander mini turn fand completely off? Because that is the only thing i am missing on my h100i.

Ok my second thought was a internal usb 2.0 y-splitter. Do these things actually exist? And if so would that work?

The last option would be an internal usb 3.0 to internal usb 2.0 adapter but i am not sure if i want to sacrifice my last usb 3.0 port :D

Are there any other methods? Which one would you choose?

If it's really is a H100i rather than a H100iGTX or H100iV2 then you can connect the RM850i via the H100i C-Link port.

For two other options see http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=759585.

USB Y-splitter cables do exist, but don't give you any extra ports and you can easily shoot yourself in the foot if you use one. You should get a USB Hub.

Can the comander mini turn fand completely off?

No, but we keep asking for this capability, see http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=837228 and follow the links.
