Wallonthefloor
I dropped my phone on my k/b (corsair gaming K70 RGB) and the red + part of the switch broke. Half was still stuck in my G key and I had to poke a hole to get it out. Attached is the real picture of the damage, Ive been prying at it for an hour but cant seem to get it off. Could I get a little guidance on the disassembly of the Cherry RGB switch please?

Wallonthefloor
Google "plate mounted cherry switch repair" for some youtube videos. Can I buy any single cherry switch off ebay and replace just the snappy red part? Or could I use a blue switch out of my old kb (razor blackwidow) they look nearly identical except the color. Wallonthefloor
I never could find a clear video showing how to take apart mechanical keys. It's really disrupting my PC gaming.
Inheritance
I dont think all cherry switches can come apart. You might need to desoder the entire switch.
