telepati
I am so confused with these header selection. Normally I am using that way. I am attaching the 2 fans with Y-Cable and connect them to the directly on H80i pump unit power header. And Connect the power header to motherboard CPU header. This is the proper way the use it H80i. Just like the guide. But if I want to use Water pump header on the motherboard. Should I remove the CPU header and put this header to water pump header? if use with this way can I get them full power of the H80i?
IcEWoLF
You can, that's what I did with my h100i v2 in my Asus board.
c-attack
You should be able to, but I wonder if you still need something on CPU fan. You don't have to use the Water_PUMP either. You can attach the sensor lead to CPU_FAN if you aren't using it for something else. Sometimes there are secondary reasons to do so relating you monitoring software. The water pump header is useful when you need one for pump power and a second set from the fans. On the H80i, the power is SATA delivered and the fans also run from there saving you a header. red-ray
It's better to use CPU Fan or CPU Opt as CL4/CL3 will not report the Pump header cooler speed. It's reported via EC and CL does not support EC sensors, see http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=805421.
