Zelvar
a year ago I built my computer, using one of these modules (the VS512MB400) and had no problems with the RAM. I was having computer difficulties, random blank bluescreens during games, and I ran Microsoft's Memory tester and Memtest86 as all resources I could find suggested, and the module tested perfectly. Come to find out about 5 months later, it was really my processor (really hard to diagnose, lemme tell ya). Well then a few months later I bought another 512 module, from the same vendor and all, and haven't had any major problems until recently. Again trying to diagnose the problem, I ran memtest86 only to find that one of my modules caused errors and failed 300+ of the memtests...I was a little upset by that, so I swapped out one module, tested, then the other and tested that. The original module still is error free, but the newer one, which I never memtested until now, reports a whole host of errors, mainly in test 5 of the memtests...I was wondering if I should get an RMA, or what I should do at this point. Thanks for any help you can provide me. :D:
