13teresa13
I purchased TwinX 1024 3200 LLPT Corsair RAM in May 2003. It ran beautifully until late November. I started to get random crashes to the desktop while gaming, and getting repeated messages about memory failure. A technician ran Memtest86 on both modules and it failed diagnostics test. The faulty module was removed and the same test was ran on the good module in both slots and it passed. The same diagnostic test was ran on the module believe to be faulty and it failed again. My system is: Power supply: 400 watts Video: GeForceFX 5900 AGP Motherboard: Asus A7N8X Deluxe Processor: Asus AMD Athlon XP2600+, 2.1 GHz I need an RMA please. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 29, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 29, 2004 2600+ should be 333 FSB? Do you have a mobil 2600+? And you should have the memory frequency set to 100% as well!
13teresa13
2600+ should be 333 FSB? Do you have a mobil 2600+? And you should have the memory frequency set to 100% as well! my mistake, it is 333FSB. But let's get back to where I told you it has been tested by a PROFESSIONAL. What part of this statement holds no clout? I took it in to a computer repair store and it was completely checked by a certified professional. I had my powersupply, videocard, motherboard all checked. Finally the last test, Memtest86 failed one stick of my memory. Can you tell me why you have not responded to this statement?
