RAM module compatible with MOBO ASUS RVE?

Recommended Posts

hi CORSAIR, is this module REALLY compatible without issues with the ASUS RVE motherboard?

- CORSAIR Dominator Platinum 128GB (8 x 16GB) PC4-21300 CMD128GX4M8A2666C15

I assume you mean RAMPAGE V EXTREME/U3.1 and it's not listed by http://www2.corsair.com/configurator/new_configurator_product_results.aspx?sc=&id=6110052, so if it is then the configurator needs updating

I just checked the manual which specifies maximum memory 64GB 8 DIMMs

i looked on the main website by narrowing down:

and then, on all 3x below 128GB kits it states on Corsair website bottom X99 Asus Rampage V Extreme:

apparently all three are compatible, also according to articles (also some other articles out there and news, G.Skill as well)

DDR4 memory modules will allow for larger densities: DDR3 is limited to 8GB modules for a maximum of 32GB on standard four-socket motherboards. DDR4 will have the ability to enable 16GB per module by 2015. A motherboard with eight memory slots will be upgradeable to an amazing 128GB or DDR4 memory

I just want to make it works, since Corsair has this product spec and compatibility statement on their website.
