Sabre RGB Laser stuttering after firmware update

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, newbie here.

After the latest Sabre RGB Laser firmware update I have noticed that my mouse will not work correctly in certain situations.

Firstly, for the mouse to work correctly at all, I need to have the CUE software running at all times, while running this software I can only use the default lighting profile.

If I deviate from the default profile or close the program (this includes locking the computer) my mouse will stutter to the point of being uncontrollable, I will move the mouse and the cursor will lag behind, moving in skips and jumps, rather than smoothly. This means that it is very hard to shut down my computer from the lock screen and effectively stops me from using any lighting profile in CUE other than the default. Frustrating.

From what I have observed the problem appears to be related to the lighting and only started cropping up after the latest firmware update, though I have no idea why the lighting may affect the operation of the mouse...

Does anyone have an idea as to what the problem could be and how I might be able to rectify it?

I'm happy to give any additional information if required.

Thanks in advance.

1. CUE needs to be running for the lighting effects, profiles and macros to work.

It may be best to upload your log files as it could be related to CUE attempting to run the lighting effects.

You can find the logs by clicking Settings>Support>view logs.
