gadget
I have a new mac g5 and when I go to the memory selector it tells me to order CMSS1GB-400. When I search on the web site to see what this memory is and what it looks like I can't find it. Is there another number that this crosses to? Can I use XMS memory? I order my memory from a specific web site because we have a contract with them and they don't list this number either. Anyone know what memory I can use with my mac g5? Thanks in advance.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 29, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 29, 2004 Please use the Memory Configurator and then when it lists the module you can click the Buy now link and that will give you a list of resellers who stock that module. Wired
Ram Guy, I think he may be limited as to whom he can buy memory from (sounds like it's for work) and as such is looking for alternative products.
gadget
Thanks Wired. This is for work and I am going to have to order from Techdata and they don't have that particular number. Ram Guy- Beware of standard answers, they may not be the right ones. Read the whole question and you will see that the configurator wasn't any help to me. I want Corsair memory so if there is something that will work in a Mac G5 I would like to know.
