ScarredMecha
GeForce GTX 1080 - $599 (Standard), $699 Founders Edition (Overclockable) Wait.. is the base card not overclockable?
Hyncharas
I don't think so. The only reason you would have a separate edition is if there was a component on it that let you overclock the GPU. The same principle is applied to the GTX 1070 - that has a stardard card ($379) and a Founders Edition ($449) at 8GB, but a smaller clock speed. [uPDATE] The reason for the Founders Edition of the 1070 and 1080 are because these have a special cooler attached to them, which draws heat away from the GPU to help with overclocking.
