WarriorN8 Posted May 2, 2016 Share Posted May 2, 2016 Hey all looking for a solution on my headsets with regards to the microphone not working when I start up my computer. I have uninstalled the headset itself as well as uninstalled the CUE and then reinstalled and for some odd reason when I start up my pc the microphone will say on (have the voice prompt letting me know it is on), however the microphone will not output a single noise. When I unplug and replug the headset in it has no problems at all and the microphone starts working again, but only when I unplug it. I have Windows 10 so I don't believe this is the problem as the headset is supported by Windows 10, but I don't know. Help would be most appreciated. t0dddy Posted May 4, 2016 Share Posted May 4, 2016 also coule you try this please Open the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type troubleshooter, and then click Troubleshooting. click view all on the left hand side and then click Hardware and Devices. please run the power troubleshooter also :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
