beanboon
I just bought this stick of RAM, and it doesn't seem to work too well. Can anyone help me identify this? CORSAIR RS2510S09ARE6-02 011322 I'm pretty sure it's registered. My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-7ZXE, and all I get when I install the RAM is a series of 3 long beeps. Thank you, Brandon

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 29, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 29, 2004 That is not our part#, more than likely that was a server module we made for an OEM and that is their part#. And based on the info I can find this maybe a registered ECC server module made with By 4 memory IC's and would not be compatible with this chipset. I would contact the place of purchase and see if they will let you send it back.

He described it as a server pull, so that makes sense that you would suggest that is what it is. Is there a particular chipset or motherboard that you can suggest (socket A, Athlon XP1500) that would accept this type of memory? He has 3 more and is asking ~$50 apiece for them so it may be worthwhile to buy an older mobo to run it. Thanks again!

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 30, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 30, 2004 No I am sorry, any MB that would take this would be a server MB, and all of them are more expensive. However, I would look for a MB for single P4 based on Server Works chipset.
