I have recived a brand new Corsair XMS 512MB DDR stick for x-mas, and upon installation, the memory doesnt work at all, I already have 1 stick of the same ram in my PC which works flawlessly, but this one doesnt work at all, it doesnt even work alone on any ram slot, and I dont know what to do anymore, can Corsair help me with RMA please ?

Here I even included the picture of the ram ....

... the label's upside down ...

CMX512R-3200c2pt

XMS3200Rv1.1

What CPU / FSB / motherboard do you have? Does the system support REGISTERED memory? What is the part # and revision of the other stick? Another pick would suffice.

Thanks for the reply, my system as follows....

Asus A7N8X Deluxe revision 2

Athlon XP2500 @ 2.2GHZ (200MHZ)

1x512MB DDR Corsair XMS 3200C2PT

The other stick seems to be exact same thing just a diffrent version ... I dont remember anymore, but I think it was 5.1 or something, not 100% sure.

Im really desperate to get his working, so please Corsair dont disappoint me! :)

That MB will not support registered memory, sorry! In addition, you will need to match the module you have now in both part# and revision for best performance. I would suggest you find another use for what you have now and just get Twinx1024-3200XL for best performance.
