Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 27, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 27, 2004 Please try the modules in slots 1-3 or 2-3 and set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts and then test with http://www.memtest.org.

faruquehabib
ok, i tested it at 2.7 volts in dimms 1-2, 2-3, and 1-3...all the same results. they fail more than one test every time :( maybe i could get an rma or something. i am running 2x256 kingston hyperx in the meantime that runs perfect (doesnt fail memtest). i really want my corsair , though. faruquehabib
bump. isn't the stock voltage supposed to be 2.5 or 2.6 volts on here anyways?
faruquehabib
according to this: http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=20-145-474&depa=0 2.6 volts is the standard.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 3, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 3, 2005 2.7 Volts is suggested especially with aggressive memory. But let’s try and replace your modules. Please follow the directions under "I think I have a bad module" under this forum or if you have trouble, Please send us a email with a copy of the form or all of your info name address and phone# and the Module part# and copy the link to this post and email it to Rma@corsairmemory.com. If after 1 day or 24 hours excluding weekends you do not get the rma please email the same to warranty@corsairmemory.com and we will help to resolve it.
