EonDel
DDRAM 512MB64MX64PC-3200LLPT COR RT (Serial#: 0BZSB80400000K0) I have two of these and its seems one of them has failed. My system kept crashing with blue screen page faults etc. I ran the Microsoft memory checker tool and this one fails on all tests, I moved it around and it fails in every slot. The other stick I bought previously seems to be fine. Is there anything I can provide to help with a diagnosis? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 27, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 27, 2004 You really need to check your PSU this is way out of spec. Voltage Sensor(s) CPU Voltage : 3.36V Aux Voltage : 4.43V +3.3V Voltage : 4.43V +5V Voltage : 6.71V +12V Voltage : 16.10V -12V Voltage : -8.43V -5V Voltage : -2.89V I would suggest testing the module in another system. jsteel44
I really really hope those readings are wrong (prolly are), cause that is really out of spec and will cause damage for sure.
EonDel
forgive me for being a noob but what should it the PSU read? I used Sandra for the tests. Is there another test method for the PSU?? I have no problem picking up a new one
jsteel44
All voltages should be in a ±5% range except -12 and -5 which is ±10 %. It seems your cpu is a socket A athlon, so it'll be 1.6-1.65v since it seems to be a 200fsb XP. It would seem that sandra is reading some wrong but least some of the voltages are sagging/overvolting, since the reading had to come from somewhere, i am almost sure your psu is indeed faulting. Wired
You could also check in the BIOS to be safe.

Wired
Yes, the voltages look much better, sounds like the sticks may need an RMA though.
