OcWizard44
Hi I've ran into that blue screen of doom again, but with a new mobo I bought from intel using the value select 2x512mb corsair rams 3200. Here is the problem, everything ran well for like 3 days straight, and then all of a sudden the screen turned blue and said "Stop:: irql_is_not_less_or_equal" any suggestion on what to do? I'm pretty sure this mobo came with the latest bios. Any suggestion would help, THankyou n Merry Christmas to all.! specs:: 3ghz intel cpu vid:: geforce fx5500 oc 128mb rams:: 3200 ddr 2x512mb ram mobo: intel d865perl
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 25, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 25, 2004 Please test your modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org to be sure one is not failing.
OcWizard44
the modules worked well when I tested it solo, sometime it passes the test with both ram in, but if i retest it 2 hours later, it finds some errors. I still don't know why the blue screen keeps saying irql_not_less_or_equal.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 26, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 26, 2004 That might suggest a power problem, can you test the modules in another MB that will allow you to set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts?
OcWizard44
i tested it on another old mobo (ecs pt800ce-a) it worked for a little while but after 10 mins there was the same blue screen. I switched back to the intel board, and it doesn't seem to even turn on the monitor anymore. Every plugs and wires are in their proper place. The weird thing is that everything powers up, the fans and lights. But there's just a black screen. Should i just take it into a computer shop and have them fix it?
