Notices that the notches on the Mobo or Memory are about a centimeter off and I can't install them....Now, would this be a memory or Mobo problem....Kuz it can't be me.... The Mobo is the newest thing out... Supports everything....Can someone help me disect this problem...
Wired
Doubt it's the memory as they're tested at the factory and something like that would be caught in a sec. Tried flipping the memory 180 degrees?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 26, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 26, 2004 What is the exact model and make of the MB?
whisperz76
I have built about 100 pc for the navy and have never seen this with memory. The Mobo supports DDR2 240 pin Memory.....I fliped the memory...since the notch only fits in one way it is not hard to get that wrong. The Mobo is the new Fatal1ty mobo from abit....The memory is pc4400 and the modo is in the first posting. However, I will have to call the Mobo maker and probably send the mobo back...... Since your board uses DDR2 i'm not surprised at all it dosen't fit or work.
