I have just bought a Gigabyte F2A78M-HD2 with an AMD A10 Kaveri processor. I also purchased 2 x Corsair Vengeance CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10B (16Gb 2x8) memory modules, as the motherboard states it supports the CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10 i assumed this was the correct RAM.

On bootup with two modules fitted it only recognises 16Gb and has constant lock ups. With one memory module fitted it only sees 8Gb of a 16Gb moduile. Has anyone seen this with the new Kaveri motherboards.

When you said you purchased "2 x Corsair Vengeance CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10B (16Gb 2x8GB) memory modules", did you mean that you purchased two KITS - 2x(2x8GB), or two MODULES - 1x(2x8) ?

In either case, CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10 is a 16 GB kit comprised of two 8 GB modules. If you have one of these modules in your system and it sees 8 GB then it's working properly.
